The most sophisticated, the most exquisite form of eroticism. / Dan
For me, reading is a homely way of tenderness while writing is the most sophisticated, the most exquisite form of eroticism. Like in love or in sex, the pleasure is always activated by the mind. By the idea that you are going to do this so spectacular and intimate thing. The thought that you are going to sit at your desk, put the coffee cup on the left side, the notebook and the pen in the middle, the cigarettes and the ashtray on the right, the thought you could use intensively and with no rush, all the necessary gestures in order to write. This prelude provides you with a greater pleasure than the fact/action/gesture of writing.
