VSLO short film "A home away from home" banning announcement

My deepest apologies to all those requesting to see my short movie focusing on Plaja de Carte in Vama Veche entitled ‘A Home Away From Home.’
While I sincerely appreciate the interest shown in my movie, due to a threatened lawsuit by one of the interviewees in the movie, London-based, Caribbean-born Samuel Maurice against VSLO, organisers of the excellent week-long visual arts training program out of which the movie was born, the movie has been withdrawn from public viewing.
Personally and professionally, I find this action by Mr. Samuel Maurice be utterly shameful.
Mr. Samuel enthusiastically wished to be in the movie and asked me if he could. I acquiesced as he was a fine-spoken man and seemed an upbeat personality.
To threaten a lawsuit now is downright unfair.
Until Mr. Samuel withdraws his threat in writing, unfortunately ‘A Home Away From Home’ will be mothballed, as will the efforts of everyone involved with it.
